Mélodie VB is a dilettante artist studying Design for a second year as a full-time student in the Fine Arts faculty of Concordia University. She has a DEC in Visual Arts from Rosemont College (2006). She lived in Paris for 3 years (2002-2005) where she studied stained glass and worked as assistant-manager for an olive oil importation company’s fine grocery named Oliviers & Co. She also studied Studio Arts at the Cegep du Vieux-Montréal (1999-2001). The mediums she used to work with are painting, photography, sewing, collage, graphic design, knitting, video and music. She is the mother of a 2 years old little man as well.
My interest for this course is very high since I already started to search on the anthropological and social ways of Design on my own last summer. I used to be wide open to collaboration and discussion. I primerily chose to study at the Concordia University in order to be evolving in an eclectic environment.
